The Center for Alternative Sexuality

The Center for Alternative Sexuality is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing BDSM, fetish, and non-monogamous communities. The Center works to develop and adapt services for these communities and to reduce stigma toward them.

The Center provides a wide range of essential services, including:

Mental Health Support and Helpline – A unique, free-of-charge service providing professional and anonymous support to individuals affected by sexual violence and abusive relationships within the context of alternative sexuality and relationships. The helpline also offers guidance for those who wish to reflect on and better understand their current relationships, those considering entering alternative relationships, and for consultation on related issues such as coping with stigma, coming out and its implications, and more.

Professional Training and Continuing Education – Courses and professional development programs for therapists, sexual assault support centers, police officers, physicians, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and sex educators. These programs aim to provide knowledge and practical tools for offering sensitive, informed, and appropriate support, treatment, counseling, and education tailored to the unique needs of alternative sexuality and relationship communities.

Community Education and Outreach – Discussion circles designed for sharing, reflection, and learning; lectures for both community members and the general public; conferences, and additional educational initiatives. These activities aim to increase awareness around consent, reduce stigma within broader society, and promote healthy, open dialogue about alternative sexuality and relationships.

Through these initiatives, members of alternative communities in Israel gain a vital sense of belonging, recognition, and both professional and personal support—an essential foundation for their well-being.
